Internship experiences provide tremendous opportunities for professional growth. Teaching student interns how to handle conflict with effective communication is key to overcoming these potential challenges. This presentation explores this issue and suggests a tool to empower undergraduates to confront conflicts constructively. Faculty have the opportunity to encourage their students to constructively face conflicts head-on by fostering better communication and understanding with healthcare professionals. By employing the tools discussed in my presentation, faculty can help students transform conflicts into valuable learning experiences, enhancing their ability to navigate interpersonal challenges within the dynamic and demanding healthcare environment.
