Veterans often suffer from PTSD which can be treated both with pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment. Exploration has shown that CPT is preferred over pharmacological therapy, however it is suggested that combined therapy can be beneficial due to the complexity of PTSD. (Inoe et al., 2021)
