Dr. Hakki Erhan Sevil

Hakki Erhan Sevil is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Intelligent Systems & Robotics at University of West Florida (UWF), and he is the director of the Sevil Research Group and Intelligent Systems and Robotics Laboratory (ISR Lab) at UWF. Before joining UWF, he has worked as a Research Scientist in the Automation & Intelligent Systems Division at the University of Texas at Arlington Research Institute (UTARI). Dr. Sevil has been the PI and Co-PI of various internal and external projects, sponsored by agencies, including NSF, NASA, ARL, USAF, ONR, and USDA. His research interests include robotics, computer vision, navigation and path planning, data-driven detection & estimation, and distributed behavior models.
