Dr. Shelby J Solomon

Dr. Shelby Solomon is an Associate Professor of Business Administration at the University of West Florida. He earned his Ph.D. in Strategic Management from Louisiana State University in 2017. Prior to teaching at UWF, Shelby taught courses at LSU and Roger Williams University. Shelby enjoys teaching through the use of games and interactive activities. Shelby’s research and intellectual interests include craft and artisan entrepreneurship, business environments, decision-making, and narratives. He has publications in various outlets such as the Journal of Business Venturing and Journal of Applied Psychology, in addition to authoring book chapters and presenting at conferences. In his spare time, Shelby enjoys working on cars, coffee, hiking, snorkeling, and learning about wildlife (reptiles and aquatic animals).
