Dr. Mark Douglas is an instructional design and technology professor and researcher whose work explores the intersection of instructional design, game-based learning, artificial intelligence, adaptive learning, human performance technology, and workforce development. His research focuses on designing engaging, technology-enhanced learning experiences that improve learner engagement, learning outcomes, and performance.

His scholarship interests include game-based and simulation-based learning, AI-enhanced instructional design, personalized learning, learning analytics, performance improvement, and workplace learning. Dr. Douglas welcomes opportunities to collaborate on research, publications, grants, applied projects, and interdisciplinary studies, as well as mentor students interested in instructional design, educational technology, AI in education, and human performance.
