Dr. Lauren Adlof is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Instructional Design and Technology. She received her Ed.D and master’s degree from the University of West Florida, and her bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University. Her research interests include human performance technology, generative AI as a constructivist learning tool, and graduate student needs and support structures. >Research -Application of performance improvement and the HPT model to higher education settings  -Analyzing and addressing college student retention issues -Generative AI and ChatGPT as a constructivist learning tool  -Implications of AI technologies for learning, pedagogy, and instructional design -Graduate student needs and implications for systematic institutional support structures and initiatives
