Dr. Erol Pala is an Assistant Professor of Marketing in the Department of Commerce. He holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from Auckland University of Technology, a Master’s in Marketing and Business Analysis from the University of Edinburgh, and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Istanbul University.

His research explores how emerging technologies such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and artificial intelligence (AI) shape consumer attitudes and decision-making. His work has been published in top-tier journals, including Psychology & MarketingJournal of Business ResearchInternational Journal of Information ManagementInternational Journal of Bank Marketing, and Australasian Marketing Journal.

Dr. Pala is dedicated to student-centered teaching, emphasizing critical thinking, active learning, and real-world application. He incorporates contemporary marketing trends and research insights into the classroom to prepare students for dynamic industry challenges.
