Abstract

Unfavorable birth experiences have shown to negatively impact maternal mental and physical health. Some women cannot take pharmacological anaesthesia for a variety of reasons. Non-pharmacological interventions can include massage, aromatherapy, music. Music therapy is commonly used to treat pain, anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
