Healthcare professionals experience a high incidence of musculoskeletal injuries due to the nature of their work which involves significant physical demands. An study conducted by Krishnan et al., in 2021 showed that out of the nurses participating in it 97.3% complained of having work-elated pain. Guidelines and state laws for proper patient handling and safety have been implemented to prevent this type of injuries (Lee et al., 2021).
