Abstract
Building rapport with students can lead to students succeeding in their education. This study explores strategies that Faculty can adopt to build rapport with students. Both on-campus and online education function with great intensity, creating a concern about student success. Online students especially tend to earn lower grades and withdraw more often than students on campus. As faculty establishes and maintains an open line of communication with students, it will create a positive teaching and learning environment that will result in students’ success.
