Abstract

Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) significantly impacts individuals' daily lives, often making even routine activities, such as getting out of bed or taking a shower, exceedingly challenging. This chronic condition has become increasingly prevalent following the COVID-19 pandemic, with more than half of post-COVID patients experiencing symptoms. However, research on POTS remains limited (Mallick et al., 2023). It is imperative to investigate therapeutic alternatives beyond pharmacological interventions in order to optimize the long-term health outcomes and overall well-being of patients with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS).The potential for dietary modifications to improve the quality of life for individuals with POTS underscores the significance of this synthesis of literature. Demonstrating the efficacy of such interventions would not only validate their importance but also provide the empirical foundation necessary to advocate for their integration into clinical practice.
