Abstract
Thirteen scholarly articles were systematically reviewed to derive trends and themes throughout the literature regarding the topic of educational podcasting. The trends and themes derived address educational podcasting as a pedagogical tool for disseminating effective, efficient, and engaging knowledge in online teaching and learning to meet the modern student's needs who has transitioned from the pen and paper to the mobile device and earpod.
