Abstract
Using Cloern and Dufford's (2005) eight primary principles that affect phytoplankton assemblages individually, and their assertion that the hyperdimensional nature of environmental factors an cause effects from multiple components to be compounded to create varied outcomes, the goal of this study is to determine the typical spring community assemblages of phytoplankton and which environmental factors have the most influences on those assemblages in the Pensacola Bay system.
