Abstract
The University of West Florida hosted the first annual Holocaust Remembrance Event on January 26, 2023. The event was co-sponsored by various colleges across campus (including the College of Education and College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities), the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Jewish Federation of Pensacola, Beth El of Pensacola, Bnai Israel Synagogue, and Chabad of Pensacola. The featured speaker was Dr. Leon Chameides, as holocaust survivor and one of the foremost pediatric heart specialists in the world.
