Abstract

Father Michael Nash, a Chaplain stationed in Pensacola during the Civil War, recorded his daily interactions in a series of 11 letters. Nash was stationed at Fort Pickens from summer 1861 until early spring of 1862 as part of the Sixth New York Volunteer Infantry.
