Abstract

Though it is well-documented that experiential service learning activities can greatly aid in student learning, providing these activities can present various challenges for faculty, particularly when they are tied to consulting. Some of the issues this poses for faculty include identifying suitable projects for graduate students, meeting client demands while also instructing students, and the dual role of supervisor/professor. This article addresses these challenges and provides some potential solutions to the issues raised. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
