Naval power remains central to international politics, particularly with the rise of new maritime powers in the twenty-first century. Scholars require data to analyze these dynamics. We update, extend, and add to the Crisher and Souva naval data. We add 14 years of naval data, extending it through 2025, introduce new data on amphibious warship capability for 1955 through 2025, and add 20 new variables to the Crisher and Souva data. With these additions, researchers can examine multiple measures of naval power and fleet composition at the country-year, regional, and system level. We demonstrate the utility of these data by examining twenty-first-century naval buildups in Asia.
