Higher education institutions are increasingly asked to account for the expenditure and application of information technologies in supporting stated educational mission and goals. Milton Glick, senior vice president and provost of Arizona State University, found that: Questions remain about how effective higher education institutions are in using technology, particularly information technology, and about whether their investments in technology are meeting their strategic goals.
