Abstract
•Congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) is a rare genetic defect that affects 1.93 per 10,000 births annually.
•CDHs usually present at birth or in the first 30 days of life.
•Late-presenting CDHs can occur after the first 30 days of life and can be difficult to diagnose.
•Late-presenting CDHs can occur with diffuse symptoms such as tachypnea, dyspnea, cough, and abdominal pain.
