Abstract
With the future of the automotive industry shifting towards electric vehicles. The next logical step is integrating a never-ending power source into the vehicles. The UWF Solar Car Team has been tasked with creating a solar powered vehicle worthy of competing in the Formula Sun Grand Prix. This track-based race is used as a qualifier for the American Solar Car Challenge. Where students will compete in a race across the country. With the frame, suspension, steering, and braking complete the team shifted its focus toward the fabrication and installation of the shell. Widening the surface area and reinforcing the frame so the vehicle will be prepared for the solar array in the future.
