Abstract
The Air Force Research Lab(AFRL) is working on a new morphing missile technology. This project was introduced by the Capstone Team Leader. Through connections made over the summer, our leader was able to work with his boss in the 961h Test Wing to begin looking for a cool senior project that would benefit both the USAF and the ME students in preparing them for real world mechanical engineering work. After talking to multiple people and now having an eager team of 7 mechanical engineering students, the team was given a challenge. AFRL contacted our team and began planning the project so the team could get to work right away.
After a couple weeks of talking with everyone, the team and AFRL had hashed out what everyone was doing and how it works for everyone's schedule. The team then got to work planning and designing.
