Abstract
The COVlD-19 pandemic has caused a major disruption in the profession of musical performance with particularly detrimental effects for freelance musicians. Investigators in this project propose to interview professional opera singers about this disruption, asking them to tell their personal stories to better understand the personality traits and motivations of musical performers and the role of perfectionism, anxiety, mood, and stress in times of deprivation and confinement (Leguizamo et al. 2021).
