The women's suffrage movement made its way to Pensacola, Florida, in the spring of 1914, with Mrs. Edith Owen Stoner. the Chairman of the Southern Suffragist organizations for the National American Women Suffrage Association (NAWSA), and field organizer Lavinia Engle.
