Abstract
Bacteriophages are a type of virus that uses bacteria as a host for reproduction. Being the most abundant microorganism in the world, phage present a unique opportunity for researchers everywhere. Our program, SEA-PHAGES, is one of many research programs attempting to broaden our knowledge about the various phages. The aim of our research specifically is to find, isolate, and purify bacteriophages from a soil sample.
