Abstract
The Adaptive Tech for Kids team has chosen to use a modified tricycle rather than t he electric cars that have been modified in the past to enable the project to be completely open to the needs and wants of the child. This way, the team can ensure it is serving the child and his or her parents in the best way possible. The team is using engineering design to modify the seat, steering, and drive train of t he trike pictured on the left.
