In this study, we further study the capabilities of wind field estimation method with spatial and temporal variation using local wind vector measurements front multiple Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) flying in the same airs pace. UAVs fly in different regions of large airspace, which are scattered over that airspace, are considered as individual airborne sensors that are providing wind information. In our previous study, wind estimation is performed using sensor information from these UAVs. The presented framework is based on various wind field models consisting different functions of position and time. A weighted least square estimation (WLSE) technique is developed, in our previous study, to determine the wind vector from pre-defined candidate models . These models are mathematical representations of wind velocity vector including spatial and temporal variations. As an extension to our previous work, in this study, we include measurement noise on air data sensors which are used in the local wind vector estimation. The results are presented in order to demonstrate the effect of measurement noise on the developed wind field estimation.
