Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate factors students perceive as important for their learning in online courses. It also focused on developing a framework to provide high quality online courses. Using a qualitative study approach, we conducted two rounds of in-depth interview with 12 students regarding the quality of online education based on their
online learning experiences. Six categories were come up with and new factors distinctive from the existing research were discussed.
