Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore what type of culture of learning is beneficial for improving the effectiveness of an instructional overlay. Using a case study approach, we observed two collaborative projectbased learning courses to investigate the features of culture in the learning environment in a collaborative PBL. Interview with students and instructor addressed implications and suggested for future research.
