Abstract
Meta-organizations—organizations whose members are themselves organizations—have recently experienced heightened disruptions, making them revealing sites for collective future-making. Yet how actors within meta-organizations imagine, articulate, and translate futures into collective action among member organizations remains underexplored. This panel symposium focuses on future-making practices among meta-organizational actors. It features three paired conversations between researchers and practitioners, complemented by an interactive discussion with the audience. The session aims to engage audiences from the HCM, OMT, DEI, and other AOM divisions and interest groups in making the future together.
