Abstract

Purpose (the aim of the study): Osteophytosis is a feature typically associated with osteoarthritis (OA). Our aim was to explore the association between possible tibiofemoral osteophyte formation and findings at physical knee examination in symptomatic knees without radiographically detected joint space narrowing, namely, in knees that are not conventionally categorized as having OA.
